Canisk was inspired by “Rampart”, a widely ported arcade game by Atari, and “Risk” a board game by Parker Brothers. Canisk is a true hybrid game as far as it relates to game genres. Canisk has both real time and turn based systems in place which make it an offshoot of a traditional real time strategy game and a turn based model. Because of this unique trait, Canisk is able to give the player a new and fresh experience.
